How To Register Philippine Marriage Certificate in The Netherlands

Registering your marriage right after your wedding is necessary to be able to validate your relationship, in your country, and in your partner's country. And to comply with that, we needed to undergo few processes to have the final paper accepted in The Netherlands.

It is not chaotic, don't worry. You just need to wait.

Here are the requirements:
- Personal appearance
- Authenticated or legalized marriage certificate (click to see how to legalize your paper)
- Photocopy of your passport
- Photocopy of your spouse's passport

Just present these papers to the city where your Dutch partner lives and leave your contact number so you will know when can you pick up the registered paper of your wedding in The Netherlands. Ours took three weeks before they were able to release the paper. But that is fine, we know everything important takes time.

And that's it! If you have any query, please do not forget to contact me in any information available in this blog. It can be on Youtube, Instagram or Facebook. So, thank you and have a great day! Doei!

*END NOTE:

You don't have to legalize your documents in The Netherlands if it is already authenticated in the Philippines.
Reference:
Have your document legalised by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs. On 1 January 2016 the Dutch embassy in Manila stopped legalising documents from the Philippines. After your document has been legalised by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, you can use it in the Netherlands.
