Wedding Preparation: Fastest Way to Lose Weight

So here's the deal. I only got less than three months before my big day. Though not all people knows it because I like keeping it as a secret (BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS ASK ABOUT IT AND IT IS KIND OF TIRING!). Or maybe, I am just really not the kind of person who let the world knows what happens in my life. No, not really like that.

Anyways, as I've mentioned, I only got few months before my big day. And for now, I weigh 53.9kg (or let's say, 54kg). It is not as bad as I think but it is best if I'll be able to lose a little bit weight and fit on my dress on my wedding day. That's the catch. On every wedding day, the bride to always make sure that they look best with the dress and they're sexy enough to look on photos.

I am not really so strict with how I look. I don't actually mind if I have this weight on my wedding day or not. But people around me are so conscious that made me want to cut my size, which I think is not bad.

Last time, I felt really stressed out that I almost passed out when I am doing a workout. That is just insane. And yes, I stopped doing it, for what sense if I'm gonna die doing it.

Today, I've decided to do Intermittent Fasting. Last night when we are having dinner with a small group of friends and family, our host talked about this eating habit cycle, one of the best and easiest way to lose weight.

It has a very minimal requirement. A weighing scale, and yourself ready to do it to be healthier and more fit. Since the name clearly tells how it will be done, this kind of fasting or eating habit requires discipline and courage. There will be times that your body will tell your mind that you're hungry at a specific time of the day. You need to control it to reach the 18hours fasting stage or 16hours fasting stage or whichever span you prefer. And then, when you reached the last hour, you now have the time to break you fast any way you like. You can eat anything you want as long as it is not pizza, or burger and fries, oh well, that's really up to you. But hey, we are talking about healthy here, so probably those kinds of stuff are not on the list. You want to eat as healthy as possible. And oh, you can still even drink coffee or tea or water. It is good as long as you are not talking any kind of carbohydrate.

What's behind of losing weight here is that your body burns your body fat as an alternative to the fats you got from food. You will release a lot of growth hormone and you don't need to use or drink supplements since you will stay young and age slow. Your body can fight more bacteria so you will not really get sick. There's a lot of things your body can do if it is not busy digesting food and producing more insulin, right?

Now, I am marking my calendar that I am going to this intermittent fasting until the day of my wedding. For that short time, I want to know if it will work for me and help me achieve my goal of fitting and looking good on my wedding dress.

I will try to update you guys how it works for me and also the result.

So yep, I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Doie!!

Can the next 20 days fly by please?

Three more weeks. Three more weeks and GJ will be home again. And from this point, I feel that time flies so slow and that waiting time is actually not running. The first two months, they were a blast. I was able to spend time with friends in Vietnam and waiting and missing did not become a problem. My days seem so short as I enjoy the food and culture of the Vietnamese. They have entertained me so good with their cuisine. From that, missing him was lessen, but it would be nice if he is with me on that awesome trip.

Last Tuesday, I was able to make a request for my Certificate of No Marriage, a document needed when you are planning to get married in the Philippines. There will be a separate post for that like the Birth Certificate that I acquired.

This document will be the last from the required one to have a marriage certificate application. I found out that there was not much information over the internet on how you can process papers if you're going to marry a Dutch citizen in the Philippines. So GJ suggested that I can blog it once we're done. He is just so supportive of what I love doing.

So to avoid this topic from drifting away, I am ending this post with a photo of us.

This is one of my favorite pictures of you and me. 😊 #gjb18th
